My advocacy focuses on an often overlooked group in the bladder cancer community. Women under the age of 60. Bladder cancer is commonly associated with older men, which leads many younger women to dismiss early warning signs or experience delayed diagnosis.

One of the most important symptoms to recognize is blood in the urine. Many women are told it is a urinary tract infection, menstrual related, or something minor. Delays in evaluation lead to missed opportunities for early diagnosis. I work to raise awareness so women understand this symptom deserves immediate attention and evaluation by a urologist.

I also focus strongly on patient self advocacy. Many patients experience medical dismissal, misdiagnosis, or delayed referrals. Learning how to ask questions, request appropriate testing, and push for specialist care often makes the difference between early detection and prolonged suffering. Patients deserve to be heard and taken seriously.

Cancer Support Studio is an online platform that curates hundreds of cancer related resources. The site provides easily searchable tools for patients and caregivers, including support organizations, educational resources, and services that help people navigate the financial, emotional, and logistical challenges of cancer.

My goal is simple. Help patients feel less alone and more prepared as they face one of the most overwhelming experiences of their lives.

Beyond awareness, I build practical tools and support resources for people navigating cancer. I am the author of the Cancer Care Book, a structured journal and planning guide designed to help patients organize medical information, track treatments, manage appointments, document symptoms, and process the emotional side of diagnosis.
