@sandyweicher Bladder Cancer Survivors like me don’t get to ring a bell like many other cancer survivors. That’s because Bladder Cancer is one of the most highly recurrent cancers. I was successfully treated in 2015. NED – no evidence of disease – for 7, yes 7, freakin’ years. Then, here we go again. I had my bladder removed and now – now I’m kickin’ that recurrences butt. And today I got this amazing gift…………

@sandyweicher The appointment shows up on my calendar and the anxiety creeps in. I don’t think I’ll ever stop having anxiety at my annual scans. It’s human to worry, especially after a recurrence. I’m focused on the scan being data – not a decision or a life change, just data. Plain and simple.
